A Look Inside Our Weekly Club
Cook Together
(Live & Interactive)
Each class is a live cooking experience where Junior Chefs prepare a recipe together. Cooking sets the stage, but the focus is on participation, conversation, and learning together in Spanish.
Use Spanish in Real Ways
Spanish is used naturally throughout class as students follow directions, answer questions, share ideas, and interact with peers. Vocabulary and phrases are introduced in context and reinforced through meaningful conversation during the activity.
Explore Culture & Monthly Themes
Each month, classes are connected by a theme or cultural focus. Junior Chefs learn about Spanish-speaking countries, traditions, or fun seasonal themes (like holidays or celebrations) through food, conversation, and shared experiences.
More Than Cooking—A Spanish Immersion Club
Why Families Choose Junior Chefs in Spanish
Junior Chefs in Spanish is a live, weekly Spanish immersion club where learners use Spanish naturally while cooking, connecting with peers, and exploring culture together.
Families choose this class because:
-
Spanish is used in real time
Learners practice listening and speaking Spanish through guided conversation, recipes, and interaction—not worksheets or drills. -
Cooking keeps kids engaged
Recipes are age-appropriate and fun, giving learners a meaningful reason to use Spanish while following steps, asking questions, and sharing ideas. -
It feels like a club, not a class
Learners build friendships, collaborate, and grow confidence in a warm, supportive group environment. -
Culture is part of every experience
Monthly themes may highlight Spanish-speaking countries, traditions, or seasonal celebrations—helping learners connect language to the world. -
Beginner-friendly by design
No prior Spanish is required. Visuals, modeling, and gentle support help all learners participate successfully.

🧑🍳 Safety & Parent Support
Cooking together is part of the fun—and we want every learner to feel confident, supported, and safe while participating in class.
To help create a positive experience for everyone, families should be aware of the following:
✔️ Adult Support
-
A responsible adult should be nearby during class to assist if needed.
-
Adults remain off-camera, but close enough to help with kitchen tools or steps that require extra care.
✔️ Preparation & Materials
-
Ingredient and supply lists are shared ahead of time so families can prepare comfortably.
-
Recipes are age-appropriate and flexible, and families may adapt ingredients as needed.
✔️ Kitchen Awareness
-
Learners are guided to follow basic kitchen safety expectations during class.
-
Any steps involving sharp tools or heat are completed with adult help.
✔️ A Supportive Learning Environment
-
Junior Chefs classes are encouraging, interactive, and paced with learners in mind.
-
There is no pressure to finish a recipe—the focus is on participation, communication, and learning Spanish together.
-
Every learner is supported at their own pace in a respectful group setting.
