Program Overview

Little Chefs en Español is a live Spanish immersion cooking club where children learn Spanish naturally through hands-on recipes, conversation, and cultural exploration.

Each week, learners cook alongside the teacher while using Spanish in real, meaningful ways—naming ingredients, following directions, and practicing everyday vocabulary and phrases. Recipes may be inspired by Hispanic cultures, seasonal themes, or special celebrations, keeping each class fresh and engaging.

The focus is not on perfect cooking, but on building confidence, making connections, and using Spanish in a joyful, supportive environment. Activities are adapted to meet learners at their level, making the class welcoming for both beginners and heritage learners.

This program is led by Profe Carlos, who creates a warm, encouraging space where students feel comfortable participating, experimenting, and growing in Spanish—one recipe at a time.

A Peek Inside a Typical Class

Spanish Warm-Up

We begin each class with greetings, simple questions, and interactive conversation to help children feel confident speaking Spanish right away.

Cultural Recipe Experience

Children follow a guided, age-appropriate recipe inspired by Spanish-speaking countries while hearing and using Spanish vocabulary in real time.

Spanish in Action

Learners practice listening and speaking naturally as we name ingredients, describe actions, and talk about what we’re making—all in Spanish.

Built for Young Learners

Songs, visuals, repetition, and movement help children absorb Spanish naturally in a joyful, low-pressure environment.

Share & Celebrate

We close by reviewing key words and celebrating effort—building confidence and excitement for the next class.
