How It Works

Platform: Hosted live on Outschool for a secure and easy-to-access learning experience

Format: Small group setting designed for active participation and individualized attention

Schedule: Set class days and times within each 4-week session for a consistent weekly routine

Learning Focus: Structured, skill-based lessons in reading, math, or Spanish with clear goals and guided practice

Materials: Materials are listed in each program description and shared with families in advance each week—simple and easy to prepare

📌 Before You Enroll — Important Information

Please review the information below before enrolling. We want
every family to have a smooth and successful experience.

  • We offer two 4-week summer sessions:

    Session 1: June 8 – July 3
    Session 2: July 13 – August 7

    Each session includes different lessons and activities, so learners are welcome to join one or both!

  • For classes that include hands-on activities (like cooking or projects), a materials list will be provided.

    🧺 Important:
    Ingredient and material lists are shared every Sunday before the week of class.

    We kindly ask families to:

    • Review the list ahead of time

    • Prepare all materials before class

    • Ensure all items are safe and appropriate for their learner (including allergies or dietary needs)

    This helps your child feel confident, prepared, and ready to fully participate 💛

  • We follow Outschool’s recording policies for all live classes.

    Class recordings are typically available for families to review; however, there may be occasional situations where a recording is not shared based on class needs or at the teacher’s discretion.

    Thank you for your understanding as we always aim to provide a safe and positive learning environment for all learners 💛

  • We recommend testing your device, audio, and Zoom connection before class begins.

    During class:

    • The teacher will do their best to support briefly

    • However, to respect all learners’ time, the class will continue

    We truly wish we could pause and help longer, and we will always do our best to guide you quickly in the moment. At the same time, we need to continue teaching so every student receives the full class experience.

    If issues continue, please message us after class and we will gladly assist 💛

    Since classes are hosted on Outschool, families can also reach out directly to Outschool for additional technical support if needed.

    Please note that technical difficulties are not eligible for refunds, so we kindly encourage families to check their setup ahead of time.

  • We want every family to have a smooth and positive experience. Please review the following:

    Refunds:
    We follow Outschool’s refund policy:
    "Cancel subscription at any point, no refund for past subscriptions. Payments may be refunded within 24 hours of purchase."

    Due to the small group setting, refunds are not available for missed classes or no-shows.

    Transfers:
    Transfer requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
    Missed classes (no-shows) cannot be transferred.

    Classroom Expectations:

    • Only enrolled learners may attend

    • Names must match the Outschool account for safety

    • Camera must be on at the beginning for verification

    • One Zoom login per learner

  • We aim to respond as quickly as possible 💛

    Please allow up to 24 hours for a response, especially during busy teaching days.

    Kindly note:

    • Teachers are often teaching live classes throughout the day

    • We do not respond during class time in order to give our full attention to students

    We welcome learners at different levels and support them throughout the class to help them feel confident and successful.

    They are organized by session and week, so you can easily see what will be covered and plan for your learner.
