Prior Spanish exposure can make the transition into academic learning through Spanish easier, but students do not need to already be fluent. We use visuals, modeling, repetition, classroom routines, guided practice, and age-appropriate support to help learners understand and participate.

Kindergarten Science introduces age-appropriate concepts across life science, Earth science, physical science, space, simple machines, the five senses, forces, and related topics. Students learn through discussion, observation, meaningful activities, and hands-on exploration.
Kindergarten Social Studies introduces communities, rules and responsibilities, maps and geography, countries, early economics, families, celebrations, past and present, leaders, inventors, and the world around us.
Both subjects are taught through Spanish, giving learners additional opportunities to build academic vocabulary and communication skills while learning meaningful Kindergarten content.
The Spanish Immersion Academy provides structured academic instruction through Spanish, but families remain responsible for determining whether the classes they select meet their homeschool requirements and educational goals.
Some families may use Academy classes as a significant part of their homeschool learning, while others may use them alongside another curriculum, a traditional school, a dual-language program, or other educational resources.
The flexibility is intentional. Families can select the Academy experiences that best complement their child's overall education.
