Weekly Learning Structure
(4 Days per Week)
Classes meet Monday–Thursday | 35 minutes each
Monday – Theme & Letter Foundations
Focus: Theme Introduction, Phonics & Oral Language
Each week begins by introducing the weekly theme and letter of the week. Through guided discussion, visuals, songs, and movement, students build background knowledge while practicing letter recognition, sounds, and oral language. This day sets the foundation for the week’s learning.
Tuesday – Vocabulary, Sight Words & Writing
Focus: Vocabulary Development & Early Writing
Students expand their vocabulary through targeted word work and age-appropriate sight word practice. Lessons include guided writing and grammar foundations, helping children practice sentence structure, fine motor skills, and early written expression in a supportive, structured way.
Wednesday – Math Foundations
Focus: Numbers, Concepts & Mathematical Thinking
Math instruction focuses on number sense, patterns, shapes, and problem-solving through hands-on activities and guided practice. Concepts are reinforced using visuals and real-world connections to build confidence and mathematical understanding.
Thursday – Story & Comprehension Day
Focus: Story Elements & Reading Comprehension
The week wraps up with a shared story experience. Students explore characters, setting, plot, problem, and sequence of events while strengthening listening comprehension and critical thinking. This day ties together the week’s theme and reinforces literacy skills through meaningful discussion.
